Scouts

There is a group of energetic and kind folks who would welcome you and your son to Cub Scouting!  Pack 302 (which is sponsored by the Chattahoochee Valley Church of Christ, in north Columbus.) has an eclectic mix of public schoolers, home schoolers, and private schoolers!  Talk about diversity! What an opportunity!!

Those entering the 1st grade level start as Tigers.  We just completed our Tiger year and had great fun.  Camping, comradery, sports, water blitz, outragous cakes, you name it!

2nd grade level boys are Wolves. We are at that stage now and planning, hot and heavy, for a fantasic scouting year.

3rd grade level boys are Bears. After recruitment, we should have a full den of bears, but now is the time to get in on the ground floor, so to speak.

4th and 5th grade level boys are in WeBeLos I and II. (Stands for 'we'll be loyal scouts') That is a transitional time in cub scouting, because the boys change styles from Tiger, Wolf and Bear and begin to work on badges simular to the style of boy scouts.
